Electronic signature offers the ability to review and edit your telephone-dictated document prior to applying your electronic signature.
Access to the 3M/M*Modal Electronic Signature (eSignature) application is available at sites that have not transitioned over to CST Cerner or Meditech Expanse (excluding C&W and BC Cancer). Documents which have been telephone dictated are sent to the author or signer's electronic inbox where they can be reviewed, edited and electronically signed prior to distribution.
3M/M*Modal Electronic Signature (eSignature) is optional at FH (Acute) and VGH. It is mandatory at FH MHSU & PHSA Forensics Psychiatric Services.
The standard time frame for electronic sign off on documents is 5 business days.
Resident documents should be reviewed within 72 hours.
